The company started when director Mr Mvulane had been usually visiting Leratong Village and realised the opportunity of a community inclusive adventure business and the gap that in Phuthaditjhaba there is no adventure tourism business that has various activities tourists can participate in while in this town.
In 2016 September he then established Leratong Tourism that would have adventure activities between the borders of Lesotho, Golden Gate Highlands National Park and The Northern Drakensberg where it is situated in the foothills of the Maloti-Drakensberg 10 minutes’ walk to Monontsha Border Post.
To use the services and resources of trained and experienced local community members together with ours to provide services to our guests on almost all our adventure activities.
To be an established well known adventure tourism company in the Eastern Free State that will have its closest community surrounding it to be the most economically and socially developed community in the Free State and in future be one of the most developed in South Africa because of Tourism.
A business that puts both the employees and the clients first and has bettering the lives of the community through job creation and income generation opportunities as paramount importance while being profitable.
